The second par five at Tennessee National comes early on the front nine. The fourth hole is reachable in two, but only with two very well struck shots. Drives that carry the bunkers guarding the inside of the left to right dogleg will catch the down-slope and gain distance making going for the green in two a possibility. Water comes into play on the right side for the lay-up shot. A second shot played to the left portion of the fairway will open up the best angle for the short iron approach. The fourth green is guarded on three sides by a spring fed lake. |
